SQUAL (Orion Orient)

DJ, producer, event organizer and radio editor from Poland.
He has been active on the music scene since 1998, Co-creating such projects as Orion Orient, AXMusique, Positive Formation, and Clinic of Positive Vibration; IDA runner-up.
A resident of legendary clubs Cube, Ampstrong, Roentgen, Alchemia and Beautiful Dog.

Squal’s sets could be heard not only in most Polish cities, but also in Thailand, England,  France, Greece, Ireland, Germany, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Slovakia, Switzerland and Italy.
He performed at numerous festivals, such as Opener, OFF Festival, Audioriver,  Selector, Summer Contrast, LAS, Wisloujscie, Egodrop, Wibracje, Dreamersland, JFC, Bangkok Island, Helloweed, or United Islands.
He shared the stage with Rodhad, Kollektive Turmstrasse, Oliver Koletzky, Fejka, Christian Loffler, Rampue, Kiamos, Guy J, Madmotormiquel & Katoe, Raidho, Komendarek, Mimi Love, Christopher Schwarzwalder, Ratt Pack, Marusha, Baby D, Luna-C, Ellis Dee, Chase & Status, Black Sun Empire, High Contrast, Drumattic Twins, Dreadzone, Soul Of Man, A-Skillz, Krafty Kuts, and Scratch Perverts, among others.

It is difficult to define Squal’s musical style because for over 25 years of his DJ journey
he had a love affair with many musical styles, which is why in his sets you can hear influences of many musical genres, plus everything additionally spiced with scratches.

Currently Squal is mainly focused on the downtempo and organic house/techno project name: Orion Orient, which is a deep journey into the world of oriental electronics, but when performing solo you don’t know what to expect.
